Let's get to the point

Looking for a high-quality, wall-mounted, manual pencil sharpener. Any recommendations?
We picked up this Boston/X-acto wall mounted sharpener from Staples for $18. We have found that it works well but that our satisfaction really depends upon the pencil. I picked up a box of basic Ticonderoga pencils, and these sharpen well. Other plan wood pencils don't do as well, and the crappy goody bag pencils my kid brings home from school have henceforth been banned. Overall, for a family of three with a fourth-grader who sharpens at least a pencil a day, this cheapie has been good.
I was going to point to the model that range linked to for more than family use.

We got the X-Acto Ranger 55 which feels very solid.

This is what my mom brought home from school and installed in our house. It worked like a champ forEVER. Sanford Giant

We weren't particularly happy with the wall-mounted ones we saw at the office supply store, because of how much they were charging, so just got a used Berol Giant APSCO off of Etsy for 15 plus shipping--apparently there are many, many of them available. The good news is, "used" doesn't have any negative effects--this thing sharpens the pencils to a fang-like point just ready to put an eye out.
