Dinner on a budget in Temecula, CA?

Where would a couple of quasi-broke thirtysomething bohemians have dinner in Temecula, CA on a Sunday night?
My guy and I are going on a hot-air balloon ride in Temecula, and we need to eat. He's not a wine drinker, so we're skipping the winery experience this time out. Plus, money is tight right now.
Gastropub grub would be great, as long as there's no sports-bar vibe with loud/domineering TVs.

cairnoflore is thinking of Mad Madelines.
Other suggestions:
Sweet Lumpy's has incredible barbeque at very reasonable prices - definitely the type of place you'd expect to see on "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" or "Man vs. Food".
The Bank has good Mexican food and a really fun outdoor bar (without the sports-bar vibe or loud TV's)
If you're looking for something a little more upscale/romantic, Scarcellas is very good Italian food that isn't outrageously expensive.
