part-time fundraisers: how do you balance your time in your part-time position so you don't end up working more than you should? do you have another job? is it on fundraising?

I have the rare opportunity to turn my full-time fundraising position to part time. I would enjoy not feeling so stressed out and be able to focus on major gifts instead of constantly cold calling cold leads. experiences of making part time fundraising work would be great to learn from.

I think a lot of it depends upon the part of the fundraising world where you live. I'm a part-time grant writer, which is easy to sequester into 20 hours a week since it's based mostly on me working at a computer. Something that's more relationship-intensive (such as major gifts) seems trickier.
