Help me purchase bluetooth headset.

Is anyone familiar with a product which would let you pair any Bluetooth headset, such as the motorokr's, with a desk phone, similar to the plantronics bluetooth headsets?

That's pretty simple. What you need first is a deskphone with a headset jack of course. Assuming that's the case , all you need is a bluetooth transmitting dongle that plugs into that jack. Here is one that I have used in the past that worked really well.

Response by poster: Our phones have normal RJ-9 headset jacks, not the 1/8" headphone audio jack... if that's helpful.

@nomisxid - I don't think that's what I want to do.
@poet_lariat - that might work if I had the stereo jack on my phone.

This is the phone I have - Altigen IP720. I'd like a bluetooth headset that can interact with it, as well as receive audio from my laptop or cell phone so that I don't have to switch between headsets.

Jabra used to make a dongle for doing this, called the GN-1110. I think I have one in the Big Bin of Crap in the garage. The problem I ran into is that this was less than useful because you still needed to be in proximity to the phone to answer it/make the call, i.e., the phone would ring, I'd hit the "headset" button on the phone, then get the call on the headset, at which point I could walk around talking. End of the call, had to walk back to the phone and hang up.
What you really need is something called a "lifter", which lifts the phone handset up just enough to activate the call. Plantronics makes one (HL-10), but it only works with some of their headsets. I think Jabra might make one too, under their GN-Netcom division.

According to the link that you posted your phone has a dedicated 2.5mm headset port.
