A new Jean Nate

Is there a good replacement for the old Jean Nate - After Bath Splash?
Revlon changed the scent of Jean Nate in the last few years. The woman I know who's used the After Bath Splash for over 40 years hates the new fragrance and wants something like the old fragrance back, in the form of an after bath splash. Based on the reviews I've read of it, it seems even the Jean Nate products labeled as "Original" aren't actually the original formula. Is there anything that smells similar to the original Jean Nate fragrance for use as an after bath splash (less potent than a perfume)?

Acqua di Parma Colonia body lotion.

Response by poster: 4711 sounds promising. Do they sell it at any stores where I could go and take a whiff? I'm in NYC. I don't know if I've seen it around or not.

Don't know off the top of my head, but it's been around for decades, so I'd start at a big department store like Macy's or Bloomingdales, and if they don't have it, ask where they suggest you try next. It has a pretty distinctive bottle, you may have actually seen it when looking for fragrances without realizing it.

Response by poster: I smelled the 4711 and it was a close fragrance, but it seemed more like a perfume/cologne than a light splash thing like the Jean Nate was, where the scent faded quickly and is more just a refreshing thing to put on after a bath. Funny thing is, I asked the former Jean Nate user if she was familiar with 4711, and she said she used to use that too. So at least she knows about it.
