Vasectomy in Chicago?

Please recommend a doctor to perform a vasectomy in Chicago.

The north side is most convenient. I am under thirty, childless, and unmarried, so I would prefer not to waste my time with doctors for whom any or all of those factors would preclude their performing the procedure. You can email me at askme.vasectomy@gmail.com

One of my friends (under thirty, childless, unmarried, lives in Chicago) got a vasectomy 6 or so months ago. I'll find out more from him and shoot you an email.

This is more of an FYI for anyone else who wonders than a recommendation/referral, but Planned Parenthood's Near North Center facility does vasectomies. Previously posters have confirmed that PP probably won't refuse to do it.

Michael Blum- http://www.noscalpelvasectomy.com/doctors/michaeldblummd#

Green Bay Road- Winnetka.

Had mine done there. I figured that if you're still in business doing this sort of think on the northshore and you haven't been sued out of existence, you must be good.

They only did the procedure on Friday's. You need to go in first to get information. When they say 'take it easy' for a couple of days- listen to them. I didn't and paid the price- remember that feeling when you'd get kicked in the nuts- not the initial blinding light and suck of breath but the resulting sickness to your stomach that lingered? Well, that's what it felt like when I decided to take a walk the next day. The busiest time is the weekend of the Master as most middle-age guys get it done on Friday, then spend the weekend on the couch.

The procedure? Not bad and wouldn't be anything if done on any other part of the body. But then that wouldn't make sense would it?

No sex for a month or so- and you'll not miss it. Then you have to bring in a sample to make sure you're done.

Good times.....
