Where can I go to swap packages?

I like to swap packages with people around the world. Where can I find an online community that would let me do this?

I'm a member of a community on a popular journal website which does this but it is done every six months or so and I occasionally miss the deadline.

This was asked previously here but that was in 2004.

I live in the UK, but I'm American and occasionally in the US. Feel free to MeMail me if you know of a small community but don't want to tell everyone here.

The main site is postcards, but go to the forums to find specific exchanges such as traveling toys, traveling journals, exchanging local candies or other sweets, etc.

Secret Quonsar is right around the corner.

Phunniemee, that seems close but that's more of a secret santa thing. I'm looking more for a send sweets, chocolate, magazines, things of local interest package swap.

Postcrossing sounds sort of promising.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned swap-bot.com yet - is this the sort of thing you're looking for?

A couple suggestions in a 2008 thread, but nothing much. FWIW, I ended up swapping with the OP of the 2008 thread. I could swap with you if you want but I am an American living in France, so nothing too exotic to be had relative to your situation...

There are several subreddits that do this. This is the only one that comes to mind at the moment.

Besides r/snackexchange, Reddit also has communities for this not exclusive to food:
