Where do poppies bloom late in the year?

How to find where poppies bloom in autumn?

I'm trying to discover in which countries I'd find poppyfields in bloom between now and November - preferably near Europe. I'm coming across anecdotal incidences in the UK (where, apparently, poppies have often bloomed twice a year), so I'm imagining there are other places where that's know to happen. Even if it's on the other side of the globe, I'm still interested. (As a possible lead: where are poppyseeds grown/harversted? Oh, and: opium fields, Afghan or otherwise, don't count.)
