Mial preferences in Outlook for Mac 2011

Can I change the order in which new mail messages are read in Outlook 2011 for Mac?

I like to read my email starting with the older messages and working my way to the newer ones. I used Entourage for years, and became accustomed to its convention of moving to the next, NEWER message after I deleted a message. This allowed me to easily work my way from oldest to newest.

Now I have transitioned to Outlook for Mac 2011 (14.1.0), and cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it to automatically move to a newer message. It defaults to showing the older message after deleting something, and I'm not seeing any option in the Preferences that would change that. This is one of those small things that can potentially drive a person insane. Thanks for any sanity-saving help you can provide.

Yeah, this drives me nuts too. If click at the top of the message list column so that it reads "oldest on top" then your new messages are all at the bottom of the column, which takes a little getting used to, but at least when you delete one it goes to the next new message instead of going backwards.
