Help a sister out. This is a picture of Joe Louis (not Muhammad Ali). But who is the smaller guy shaking his hand? Anyone? Anyone?
I was going to say Cab Calloway too, especially since I believe Calloway wrote a song about Louis.

Best answer: Looks like Cab Calloway to me as well. "Ol' Joe Louis" is the song.

Response by poster: Good catch, ldennau. That's what I get for not looking closely enough. Calloway (or the Callowayesque fellow) is clasping his own hands together; Louis has his in his pants pocket.
