Brooklyn Vegetarian Eats

Anyone have any suggestions for yummy vegetarian friendly restaurants in the general vicinity of the Brooklyn Museum?
Going to the Brooklyn Museum on Saturday, which weirdly enough I've never been to despite living in NYC my entire life, and just looking for some yummy vegetarian eats in the general vicinity.
Price is not particularly an object. And yes, I know Manhattan is 35 seconds away, I just want to explore Brooklyn's unexplored possibilities. Thanks!

Cheryl's Global Soul is a great choice, with a decent selection of veggie options. It's got a warm atmosphere-- really friendly staff and cozy seating. The menu isn't exclusively vegetarian, but the veggie entrees are delicious-- fresh ingredients and fresh spins on classic dishes.
There's also a vegan pan-Asian restaurant on Flatbush Ave called Dao Palate. They have some yummy Chinese, Japanese and Thai dishes, but it's a bit of a farther walk from the museum.
Enjoy your Brooklyn outing!

Best answer: I'm a vegetarian and this is my general neighborhood. . . .
There are lots of good choices, but let me just give you the one I'm really excited about now: Skyice, at 63 Fifth Avenue. It's a Thai restaurant and ice cream parlor, owned and run by Thai folks. They have a few delicious savory options (always including vegetarian) and a rotating cast of surprising, eye-opening, delicious ice cream flavors -- about 20 options at any given time. I wrote a brief review of the place. This is not just another generic Thai place. I'm so happy I've found it.

I used to live right nearby and really enjoyed Dao Palate.

I am also a vegetarian and The Islands is a great Caribbean place on Washington that has a lot of non-veg but the veg dishes it has are really good.
There are also a lot of veg places on Nostrand near St. Johns that I have been meaning to try but haven't yet, including Ital Shak and Original Vegetarian.

If you're happy to hop on the subway and see a bit of a different world, there's a great kosher dairy Italian restaurant, Basil, I think right by the Kingston stop (in the middle of the Lubavitch neighborhood).

Not too far away in Park Slope on 5th Ave is The V-Spot, 156 5th Avenue, (718) 622-2275.
Those are the only two I know to have well-regarded vegetarian and vegan food. Happy eating!
