What shoes?

What shoes with this dress?
So I'm going to a wedding on Thursday and with one thing and another, haven't been especially organised with my outfit-I rarely dress up so was always going to have to buy something new, and absolutely hate shopping. I've got a new dress which I'm not mad about, but I decided would have to do. I have no shoes to go with it and am struggling! Fashionistas-what shoes would go with this dress? I am thinking white heels but really struggling to find any, and have limited time to search for some-so if I can't find White heels, what would go? I am terrible at this sort of thing!

If you want a heel - try a slingback. Pretty easy to find. I'd probably go with a nude color. Do you have a DSW by you?
What time is the wedding? That would determine if I went with a heel, sandal, or flat.

If you're not used to walking in heels or if you'll be spending a lot of time on lawns where they'll sink in, consider sandals or flat slingbacks. Cute dress; love the back details!

I would stay away from anything but white or a very pale yellow. Agree with quodlibet that the time of day is important. You don't want to wear a flat sandal to an evening wedding.

White sandals or slingbacks would be perfect, I think. You could try Zappos, as they almost always ship overnight, but that might be cutting it a little too close.

If you are going to try to 'match' the dress, then go with a very pale, subtle color in the same color family as the dress. And yes, low heel , sling-back, open toe. But I think it would be fun to not 'match' the dress and wear some bright red shoes, or light pink, or maybe even a lavendar, something that would make you pop and not just blend.

I think green, yellow, natural leather would all work at least as well as white.
Geox has a couple styles that might work
Platform or wedge heels would also be a good option if you have to walk on grass or soft surfaces.
most of all, have fun in your lively dress!

What about these guys? They're cheap, they look pretty comfortable, and there's free delivery by Wednesday.
I really like Endless.com: you can search by shoe type, color and heel hight, and all of their shoes have free overnight or two-day delivery.

Are you going to be outside at any point? If so, I recommend some flat gold sandals from Monsoon. These should be a staple of your summer wardrobe, you can wear them practically anywhere, day or evening.
You could get heels instead, but they might sink into the grass.
If gold shoes get scuffed, you can buff them up with Treasure Gold gilding wax. But I digress.

Most formal, moderate (in the white or in the yellow), most casual (in the white unless you are a crazy fashion person, in which case wear the yellow).

I like the 50's vintagey look of the dress and your best bet is to wear a shoe that kind of goes with that style, so may I suggest some super cute mary janes (not hot pink, ovs.) In the picture the leaves in the dress look more blue than green to me - could just be a color shift on my monitor - but if they are teal/blue I think the blue ones would be stunning.

I would actually wear flats with that dress. It hits pretty high above the knees and (as you can see on the model), heels might make you look a little disproportionate.

That dress is adorable. I like the idea of a simple ballet flat in white or yellow (maybe satin if you feel like dressing it up a little), and if you're in the USA, you do have enough time for Zappos/Endless delivery, but you won't have much time left if the pair you get is uncomfortable, and it's no fun to have uncomfortable shoes at a wedding. As much as you might loathe it, I'd try to go shopping today where you can try things on in person, then go the delivery route on Monday if you haven't found anything.

Strappy tan/nude wedge sandals, or nude dress shoes, as in the photo shown - colours will shorten the look of your legs and draw attention away from that cute, cute dress. Have fun!

The last photo on the dress page is the model wearing the dress with tall nude heels (which I think look too clunky) - I would definitely stick with nude or a light metallic, but with a more delicate feel.

I'm with contessa: my very first thought was, "find some cute blue mary janes to bring out the blue in that adorable print to really pull the outfit together!" If you want to go with flats, something like this might work, too.

I think the dress is really cute - and for that reason would wear shoes that don't "match" at all to add a little edge. Red (or orange or purple) patent would be way more stylish than something matchy or nude.

Not white. Nude. Low wedges or a kitten heel. Sandal or at least a peep toe.
Or a bold shoe - robin's egg blue or possibly an orange that works with the yellow in the dress. Depends on how cutesy you wany to look.

The dress is cute. Besides being so summery, its main feature is that it's very very youthful. Unless you're under 25, I'd advise you stay away from flats or low heels, as it might look way younger than your actual age. Also, with a floral dress this pale, if you go with pale shoes, you risk blending it all together in a way that might look frumpy.
So I'd actually choose a bold color to play up the pinup/vintage aspect of the dress. Probably a red, a green, or a pink. Definitely either peep toes, slingbacks, or both.
Bottom line: IMO this dress needs something 1) colorful, 2) playful to go with the youthfulness of the dress, 3) high-heeled or of moderate height to add sophistication.
Something like one of these:
1. red Cole Haan peep toe slingbacks
2. red Nine West peep toe slingbacks
3. red patent Pour la Victoire peep toe slingbacks with cork wedge
4. green Lily Pultizer peep toe slingback wedges
5. royal blue Type Z espadrille wedges
I found all these on Zappos by searching for some combo of the color name, wedge, sandal, peep toe, and heel.

Not white. Light metallic strappy heels. Platinum or pale gold. Like the color of the clutch bag the model is holding.

I love that dress!! I agree that wedge sandals in a neutral color like beige or wheat or buff would work (and you could wear them later as they'd go with pretty much anything). I really like these sandals, and the flowers on the straps carry on the theme from the dress but wouldn't distract from it.

Not white. White sandals are for Easter and little girls. I like these blue wedges for that dress. I also like Oriole's suggestion.

Response by poster: Thanks so much for all the ideas guys! The wedding is at 2pm and then there's the evening do so I'd quite like to wear heels, although some of the flats suggested are so cute! I'm a fair bit shorter than the model, the dress hits me literally just on the knee. I like the idea of blue or some striking red ones-thank you mefi, knew you wouldn't let me down!

I absolutely agree with ImproviseOrDie--peep toes are the way to go! I love the Nine West ones s/he suggested. va-va-voom.
Much as I love mary janes, and I love them A LOT, I think they would give you a sort of six-year-old Easter Sunday effect.
