Advice book from different perspectives?

Can anyone recommend some non-fiction advice books where many authors write their perspective on similar situations or difficulties in life?
Charles Grodin has a neat little book called "If I only knew then..." where he asked some 80 odd of his celebrity friends to describe the biggest mistakes they made in their career or personal lives.
It's a neat premise for a book, and it's hard to find a sub-genre for this. Essentially, it would either be one author who writes many mini case studies from his life (like Mark McCormack in "Never Wrestle with a Pig") or a collection of pieces from different people where they write about tricky or interesting moments in their lives (the more specific the better, and not in vague generalities about values, if that makes sense).
Many thanks for any help here!

Best answer: A lot of writers (Richard Powers, Tom Robbins, William S. Burroughs, Alexander Theroux, Judith Butler, William T. Vollmann, Robert Creeley, Ken Kesey, R. U. Sirius) contributed to this book: Take My Advice.
