Can anyone identify this plant?

It was purchased in St. Louis. I don't remember much else about it, although I'll try to answer if anyone has any questions.

From Wikipedia: "The toxic sap of its roots and stems is used as arrow poison for hunting large game throughout much of Africa."

That's pretty damn cool.

Response by poster: As a follow-up question, any idea where to get one in Atlanta? Pike Nursery, the Atlanta Botanical Garden, and Hastings Garden center all don't have any.

Best answer: If you're willing to get one online, Logee's has has them. I found this information on Dave's Garden which frequently lists vendors for plants. There were also some listed on Amazon as well.

I don't know nurseries in the Atlanta area.

Good luck.

Nthing Adenium! Common name around here is Desert Rose. They don't like to be overwatered. I have two in pots. My neighbor across the way has a couple planted in a raised area of her yard. They like a lot of sun and very good drainage. I think ours came from either Lowe's or Home Depot, but we're in South Florida.
