Can the tutorials, presentations and other reading material given to attendees at Embedded Systems Conferences, which happen annualy in Silicon Valley-US, and also in other places, be purchased later if one has not attended the conference? If yes, Where, How can one buy that?

In my experience, the slides/papers are usually pretty lightweight, and the meat is in the presentations.
Now, most places want you to pay the attendee fee to have access to those things. Does the expo sponsor not have a web page where you can purchase older copies ? (I'm assuming you've tried that, and I'm surprised they wouldn't..)
Is there a particular bit you're looking for ? Do you know the author of the paper or presenter you can find/talk to off line, or do you want the whole proceedings ?
