Where in Boston can I buy a men's leather jacket today?
Shopping for a men's leather jacket that will be useful for riding a motorcycle, around downtown/Back Bay Boston. Any recommendations? Thanks for any help.

If you're actually going to be riding a motorcycle, I highly recommend getting an armoured jacket. Hitting the ground hurts much less when you have armour in your jacket. I speak from experience. I don't know about Boston, but I know that in SF motorcycle shops tend to be closed sun-mon, so you may want to call places before heading over.
(Irrelevant to the question, but please consider gloves, boots, pants, helmet as well. Still speaking from experience.)

If you're going to be riding in it go to a motorcycle shop. None of them are open today or tomorrow.
You can find a riding jacket that doesn't look like a riding jacket. Get a regular jacket and maybe you'll slide for a bit before popping seams when you go down. Also a riding jacket will keep more of the wind out of your ass crack.

I agree about an armored jacket.
My friend Lou laid down his bike when a car turning across him would have pushed him under a Green Line trolley (B line by Harvard Street in Brookline/Allston, if memory serves). He was OK in his steel mesh-reinforced leather jacket, but the friend of ours riding behind him was not wearing anything leather and she got ripped up.
