Help me sit!

I once stumbled upon a site offering a belt-like device to be worn around one's (bent) knees in order to sit comfortably without a chair. Do you know where to find this?

It looked kind of like a seatbelt, and the site had images of happy people sitting with their knees bent, the device wrapped around their legs like such. Have you seen something like this?

A lightweight version of this would be great for backpacking.

FWIW, I just grabbed some odds and ends from my gear and this DIY solution worked pretty well:

- 11 feet of 1" climbing webbing
- plastic adjustable buckle
- shoulder strap padding removed from old laptop bag

Just make a loop with the webbing and slide one end of it through the padding until it is in the middle. It would also works without the padding but is harder to keep in place.

Where to get one? In California, small cities have an irritating custom where for a weekend in the summer months, the main drag is closed to regular traffic so a legion of seasonal peddlers can set up rows of booths selling arts and crafts. They have names like [small city name] Arts and Crafts Fair, and they're usually jammed with people who seem to be enjoying themselves. The sun beats down and clouds of smoke from food grilling operations waft through the air. Often, you can find at least one booth there selling these things.
