Which epsode of Queer as Folk is Kathy Bates in?

I have spent about an hour searching and I cannot find the exact episode of that show in which Kathy Bates plays a PFLAG mom. I am married to a PFLAG mom so I want to rent it, just for the, um, well I just do. Thank you, for anyone who knows this.

Could it be Six Feet Under? That's the only television show on which she's had a substantial (or recent) fictional part.

Bates isn't listed in this seemingly-exhaustive roster of Queer as Folk guest stars, from the usually-reliable tvtome.com. I, too, suspect you're thinking of Six Feet Under.

Yeah, on IMDB it's not listed for Queer as Folk, and it wasn't listed on any of the episode guides for either the UK or USA version. Not that it's the bible, but generally they're pretty good - unless it was a total walk-by character.

Are you confusing her with Sharon Gless? Gless has had a major role on the series as a PFLAG mom for the entire run of the show. (The U.S. version, anyway.)

Or maybe Bates will be in an episode coming this new season, which begins in late May.
