Finding for a Converse shoe which is very similar to Converse Jack Purcell.
Hey guys.. I am finding a shoes which is extremely similar to this shoes:
http://cgi.ebay.com.my/CONVERSE-JACK-PURCELL-OX-SNEAKERS-SHOES-WHITE-ALL-SIZE-/220735777638?pt=US_Men_s_Shoes&var=&hash=item791439eb87
The shoes brand that I am looking for is also a Converse Jack Purcell but it differs by a little. I got it from a store in Melbourne CBD, Australia.
The 2 main difference is
- There is no blue line at the tip of the shoes. However, there is a blue patch at the top front part of the shoes... As seen in the photo, the blue patch would be roughly in the "M" looking area at the front of the shoe.
- There is an extra white thing at the side of the shoe.. You know some shoes has the thing at the back of the shoe

Thanks in advance ! :)

If you bought them new more than a year or so ago, you're chances of finding another pair in your size aren't great. There are few sneakers that are consistently released in the same style and color -- most are made just once. I'm not familiar with the resale market in Australia (or Malaysia), but here in the US, finding a particular Jack Purcell would come down to luck and consistent searching on eBay.
Some things that would be helpful for your searches:
-The exact name of the shoe. It may be "Converse Jack Purcell," it may be something like "Converse Jack Purcell CL"
-The style number of the shoe. This usually coincides with the exact name. It will help you zero in the model you're looking for.
-The color number of the shoe. Each shoe of a particular style number usually comes out in several different colors. The combination of style and color numbers will bring you the exact shoe you're looking for.
-The date of manufacture. If it was made in 2004, you probably won't find it in retail outlets, so online or second-hand stores are your best bets. It it was made in, say, 2008, you might get lucky and find it on sale somewhere.
-The market(s) it was originally sold in. Some shoes are only released in part of the world: You can buy it in Beijing but you can't buy it in London. Some are exclusive to a particular retailer: You can buy it from Foot Locker but you can't buy it from the manufacturer's own web site. I'm assuming you're in Malaysia; the only retail outlet for Converse that shows up on their web site is Atlantic Sports. If they didn't carry it, you might only find the shoes in another country.

Best answer: They're from the John Varvatos 2008 Spring/Summer collection. It's unlikely that you will find them for sale anywhere.

Can you build it yourself on the converse site? It's a flash widget so I can't do a direct link - look for the "design you own Jack Percell" on the top right. IIRC, they only ship to the states though.

The reason I'm asking is because that's where you will find the style and color numbers of the shoe, as well as other helpful information (date of manufacture, mostly). You can then search for the style-color combo to find the exact shoe you're looking for.
