Who's that shouty guy with the mustache from the home shopping channel?

Does anybody know the name of the shouty guy with a mustache who was on all those home shopping channels in the 1990s, the one who is parodied in this Saturday Night Live sketch?
You may also be thinking of Billy Mays, but he was found more on infomercials rather than HSN.

(Edit: Apparently Billy Mays *did* get his start on HSN. That'll learn me to post wikipedia links without actually looking at them.)
