Looking for Good, Drawable Discs

I would like to buy some blank CDs that are just white on top—completely blank, no brand or logo (it might be OK if it's very, very small) and with a surface that can be drawn on with permanent markers. Can you please recommend me a brand?

I'm not sure about pre-made like that, but you can get cd label stickers that can be put on any cd.

Best answer: You want to look for "white inkjet printable" discs. You should be able to find them at any local computer store, big box retailer, or even places like Office Depot/Staples.

Here's an example of one.

Best answer: Just do a search for 'printable blank cds'. The printable ones have a white surface that allows you to run them through (suitable) inkjet printers. The surface is also suitable for writing on.

Verbatim discs are abolutely fine, and widely available.

Best answer: I've been using these Taiyo Yuden blanks for a long time.

Best answer: You can't go wrong with Taiyo Juden CD-Rs -- I use them exclusively. Note that the entire top surface, including the hub ring, is white.

I recently made my own version of this using a can of white spray paint on my (already purchased) blank CDs. It worked fine, but probably much easier to buy one of the recommendations above.

Response by poster: That's a good idea! But I'm looking for a uniform surface, and I think it'll be easier just to buy them.
