Name for girlfriend's sociology of fashion blog?
My girlfriend wants to start a blog on the sociology of fashion where she examines various theoretical texts and develops her own ideas. Its going to mostly academic in tone and used to help her develop her writing while she figures out the next step in her education. She has a pretty good ideas about regular features and topics but has no idea what to call it. Her only decent idea right now is The Conspicuous, Critical Notes on Apparel and Aesthetics but she's very open to suggestions. So, any ideas?

Unhemmed.

Fashionological something, like Fashionological Theory, or just Fashionological? (Fashionology is pretty widely used by a number of other people, but there are almost no Google results for +fashionological out there.)

She could name it after Barthes's The Fashion System.

It would help to know who she's leaning toward in her academic opinions, and what sorts of fashion she's interested in discussing.
Without that, the best I can offer (from the top of my head) is a little on the anthropological side:
Material Culture
If you can update with more info, I'll be happy to brainstorm a bit more.

Haute Culture is a great idea, SparkDino. It combines the two ideas, fashion and sociology, in a really clever way.

(P.S., even if she doesn't pick one of our suggestions, you should totally come back here and tell us what she did choose.)

Response by poster: Hey, thanks everyone for your suggestions! She's thinking it over now and I'll definitely let everyone know what she ends up going with.
