ThinkPad Mystery Parts ID

My ThinkPad was repaired, and I got some mystery parts back along with it. Picture inside!

So, my Thinkpad (X61t) had some mechanical issues in its display bezel that I ignored for long enough to actually have a chunk of magnesium break from the display cover, but when the backlight started flickering with spark noises and the distinct smell of burnt electronics, I finally decided to send it in for repair.

When I got it back, the package contained the laptop with a new display cover etc plus a sealed plastic bag with this (match for scale). What is that and what am I supposed to do with it?

Best answer: They are replacement tips for your stylus. The metal piece is a tool for replacing the tips.

Response by poster: Thanks! I wonder why they felt the need to include them.
