Best (FREE/VERY CHEAP) video capture software for integrated webcam on Dell Latitude E6410, running Windows 7?

I seem to only be able to use my webcam when I am chatting online. I would like to be able to record and playback video. I am on a very tight budget, so cannot afford something like Camtasia (~$300), and even something like Debut Video Recording Suite (at $70) is too expensive. Anyone know of free or very cheap options available? Thanks!
I've used HyperCam 3 for screen recording. It's nothing special, but it does the job. Should work for capturing internet video and sound as well, although you might have to fiddle with codec settings. There's a demo version, and I think the full version costs about $30.
There's an earlier version, HyperCam 2, which I think is free, but I've never used it and can't comment on it.

Does the latest version of Quicktime for Windows allow you to record from your webcam? The Mac version does. I know QT is an evil thing to Windows users, but, hey, it's free.

Response by poster: It appears you need Quicktime Pro in order to be able to record with it. Looks like it runs on any computer that can run Quicktime in the first place. It's $30 for the upgrade to QT Pro.
