Music video identification

Help me identify a music video with anime-like influences.
This post brought to mind a video that I haven't seen in a while. All I remember is that it is several distinct sequences, many of which seem to be parodies of the standards of Japanese film (both animated and not) - giant monsters, robots, people riding a subway, something else. Video screens? Cop chase?
Anyway, there are several scenes each in some monochromatic visual, and the video goes through all of them once. Then parts of each section start bleeding over into the next - a guy from one scene runs through the next scene, prompting a change in the third, etc. By the end it's a big glorious mess.
What is this video I'm thinking of? I know you know.
