Help me find a Christmas television show I remember from childhood?

I hate to waste a question on this, but its been bothering me...I think it was a claymation show. All I remember is that there were two bad characters, one for summer/sun/heat/fire, who may have been kinda short and fat, and one for winter/snow/ice who may have been kinda tall and skinny. Thank you Metafilter!

The Year Without A Santa Claus. You're thinking of Heat Miser and Snow Miser.

OMG thanks Gator and apparently....I just checked my direct tv menu to record it, and its on RIGHT NOW! I especially remember loving the songs sung by the two misers. Thanks again!

The Selfish Giant? Not exactly Christmas, but this is what I think of as I read your question.
