Need Family Puppets stat!

Where can I buy family puppets for use in psychotherapy -- preferably in New York City, but, if not, online? You know, the classic ones that are about 8 inches tall each? (not the crappy little ones amazon sells) Thanks!

If you can't find exactly one's you're looking for, these smaller family dolls from HearthSong might be an inexpensive, high quality stand in until you can find what you need.

Well, this place has a variety in different races that measure 10" (for the adults - not sure how tall the children stand).

Constructive Playthings doesn't appear to have a store in NYC, but you can get the puppet family online.

Response by poster: Dammit, the puppets I want seem to be "vintage"!

They were made by Creative Playthings, which doesn't exist anymore.

I've last seen them (1) on a shelf in the movie "Tiny Furniture"; (2) on a coffee table on the set of Carrie Fisher's "Wishful Drinking" on HBO.

All the other family puppets seem so...inadequate*.
