Unusual Midi Controller

i've been scouring the internet to find out what this particular (i think) midi controller is and i can't find it anywhere. besides the national i know spencer krug from wolf parade uses one as well, i saw him using it last month. it's within the first few seconds of the song. thanks! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6O6WEe3VI0
