Find me a romantical restaurant in Monterey plz

Me and my sweetie are gettin our romance on in Monterey this weekend.
Last night we had our minds blown at Casanova's in Carmel and we are currently getting our socks knocked off with the French toast at Em Lee's. Tonite we will be in Monterey proper and would love to hear some suggestions for somewhere cozy and romantic and above all fantastic.

Any idears?

We were just there a few weeks ago and had a good meal at Bistro Moulin. The place is generally very cozy. Our spot was fairly romantic, you can see it in the last picture on the gallery. Traditional French food is what they do.

You've come to the right place! I actually work for the Monterey County Convention and Visitors Bureau, and I'm also very proud of our area - so I'm actually bound both by my job and my local honor to help you out! (Sadly, you're probably already at dinner, but maybe this will help you for the next time!)

Bistro Moulin is one good choice. Another is the legendary Sardine Factory (one of the locations from the film Play Misty For Me). It has a piano bar and epically good food. If you want romantic Italian, I would suggest Isabella's on the Wharf - many cozy nooks, great views of the harbor and delicious traditional Italian food.

If you were willing to cross the border into Pacific Grove (which is only a 2-minute drive; half of the Aquarium is actually in PG), Passionfish is known as a top romantic spot and a great place to dine; they specialize in local, organic, sustainable food with an emphasis on fish, and also have a wine list where all wine is sold at retail.. Fandango, also in PG, has several little nooks you can sit in if you make it clear that romance is what you're after, and they do great French and Mediterranean food.

If there is any way I can help out with local hints and tips, please let me know!
