Where do you see the word "HOME"?

I’m looking for as many real-life, able-to-be-photographed appearances of the word “home”. Some good examples would be the home key on a keyboard or the home signage on a sports scoreboard (as in HOME v VISITORS). A homepage icon on a web browser would also work - even though the word might not be written, the symbol’s meaning is instantly recognisable as “home”. I'd liken to avoid using company logos and business names. A great variety of locations, typography, surrounds etc would be ideal. I don’t want to type the word “home” again, so I’m hoping you get what I’m after.

If the word does not need to be written, and your audience is largely American, home plate.

also not a word, but the "home" icon on a browser came to mind.

Too bad you're all the way across the world, because in Charleston there's a bunch of places where someone took a stencil and spray painted "This is Home" on various things mostly sidewalk.

I'm actually moving there Saturday and sometime amongst all of the hullabaloo I can go get a shot if you want.

You'll sometimes see signs outside of apartment complexes which say "If you lived here, you'd be home now."

Drive around some neighborhoods. Home shows up on For Sale signs. There's also the red arrow "Home for Sale" sign.

Plaques or statues to people with "home" in their name (I'm thinking Homer, but there are surely others). Covers of the Iliad & Odyssey with Homer's name prominently featured. Jim Thome baseball cards. The cover of Alison Bechdel's Fun Home. Phone book entries for people or businesses with "home" in the name. "Welcome Home" banners; if you were in the US, you could get some great shots of the homemade signs people post on highway overpasses to welcome troops back. Gameboards that have a "home" space. A saved "Home" entry on a cell phone auto-dial list or GPS list. Business cards that list "home" and "work" contact information.

Home Alone

Perhaps a house key? Not quite as iconic as an image of home plate or the home icon in a browser.

Signs where you can buy "home made" items. A craft market of some sort?

A highschooler's agenda listing "Homeroom"

Homecoming banners

The home shopping network channel on TV

If you were in Canada there's the Home Hardware store franchise

Any Home Owners association

Homeland security logo if you're close to a border

Signs on athletic venues. Wrigley Field is a good example; I'm sure there are hundreds others.

There are lots of books and movies with the word "home" in the title. Maybe go take some photos of book covers and DVD covers at your local library?

Home is the name of an episode of the X-Files. The word appears briefly on the screen at the beginning of the episode; maybe you could screen-capture it on a computer?

Also "homestyle" or "home style" is used a lot to refer to certain types of cooking.

There seem to be several realty magazines with the title HomeStyle. Here's one example.
