Synchronizing flash games across computers

Is there an easy way to keep flash game data synchronized across computers?

I play a lot of flash games on a site called Kongregate. Right now, I'm using two computers (a laptop and a PC) extensively, which means that any progress I make in games on one doesn't carry over to the other. How can I set up something to keep the two synchronized?

I've used Dropbox before, but when I used it in the past it could only support synchronizing one catch-all folder (as far as I could tell). I'd love to know if this has changed.

SugarSync enables individual folders to be synced, but not sure if this does exactly what you need.

Best answer: You want to sync your LSO folder. I've had some success moving those files, but be sure to back up before overwriting.

Since flash uses flash cookies to keep track of some data (and that's how I'm assuming they're keeping track of things within the games) why not play these games using a browser from a jump drive?

portable apps is what you could look into.

Best answer: What I'd do is create a folder in dropbox to store the saves, then create NTFS directory junctions (or hardlinks if you're on linux/mac) from where flash saves its stuff into Dropbox.

If you don't want to muck with command line on windows, you can use this symlink creator.

Response by poster: That seems to be what I want, pete, though I'm having issues getting the link to work.

Response by poster: Yeah, that worked flawlessly after I stopped trying to create a link where there was already a folder of the same name. Thanks!
