Which song has a chorus of "See you tonight"?

Please help me find a song played before the Pavement concert in St. Paul last night! Byrdsy jangle pop with a chorus of "See you tonight" repeated.

Last night I attended the Pavement show at Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul. It was a fantastic concert, but I'm trying to find the name of a song played over the P.A. before No Age (the openers) came out. There was a mixture of music, mostly 70s-sounding punk, though this particular tune was a very Byrds-like jangle pop song whose chorus consisted entirely of the phrase "That's alright, see you tonight" repeated about five times. One of the later verses contained the lines, "You call me every day / Try to reach me in every way". It sounded sixtiesish, but could easily have been from any year. Thanks for your help!

The Lackloves sound a lot like The Byrds, and they have a song called Need To See You Tonight. I've never heard the song but does this sound like it?

Response by poster: Sadly, that's not it. (That's a great song, though, so thanks for the introduction!)

ugh this is going to drive me nuts. after some google-fu, i'm going to put this pony in the race. not a great match for the words you remember, but lots of byrds-like janglyness from a surprising source.

Response by poster: No, it's not Kiss either, I'm afraid.

Response by poster: FINALLY. I just logged into my Tumblr, unused for months, and found someone had left me the answer there! It's "See You Tonight" by Vetiver. Thank you so, so much, anonymous person!

Response by poster: (And it is a cover of a 1960s song by the Wizards, which is just as lovely.)
