Soap of Death?

What brands of pure liquid SOAP can I buy at a grocery store/walmart in Canada? It must be pure soap and not a detergent as this is to make my own Homemade Insecticidal Soap Spray to combat epic cinch bugs in the lawn. :(

Wouldn't surprise me if Wal*Mart didn't sell insecticidal soap already in the garden section, given the provincial regulations.

We use regular store-brand lemon-scented non-antibacterial dish soap for that purpose. Works like a champ. I don't know if it's a detergent or not, but it seems to work well without any obvious damage to the plants we're using it on.

Another option might be Dr. Bronner's. That's a traditional liquid castile soap, although that might be hard to find.

I've used Murphy's Oil soap when controlling aphids around my garden (3 capfuls of soap to 1 quart of water).

Sunlight dish soap has been our go to liquid soap for these things. I'm not sure if it's pure soap, but it seems to work well to get rid of inch worms in the summer.

Dr Bronner's 100%! All one! All one! Not only is Bronner's delightfully labeled, actually has good business practices, comes in recyclable bottles, and smells delightful, the peppermint variety has been proven to kill all manner of pests with my own eyeballs. They ship to Canada.
