driver's ed for someone who missed the change in HS?

Recommendation for a driver's ed instructor in Brooklyn, not far from the Sheepshead Bay / Brighton Beach area?
This is for someone who is not comfortable around strangers and is already really nervous about having to learn to drive, so the instructor would need to be really patient, non-condescending, and kind. If you don't know someone like that, then any recommendations for an instructor who at least does their job well, doesn't take personal phone calls while on the clock, and makes new drivers feel comfortable?
