A makers mark as it is made?

Art History-Filter: Looking for art or artifacts depicting the application of guild marks, makers marks, silversmiths stamps, etc.

I'm looking for visually clear, online examples (paintings, friezes, tapestries, early photographs, etc.) that depict (or even arguably depict) the physical application of guild marks, makers marks, silversmiths stamps, brickmaker stamps, or any other source-identifying markings being applied by a craftsperson, artist, or maker to his or her work.

Any historical era (really, ancient civilizations to WPA) or context would be great, provided the theme is not obviously religious. I would love to find something like this, but which shows the subject figure in the act of stamping or marking his work.

Best answer: Here are a few pulled from a google image search (third and fourth to same site, fourth is direct to image). They're from searches of "silversmith at work" and "silversmith working". In each case the artisan could be stamping patterns rather marks, but they might be close enough for your needs.
