Failing in mom duties, I need this book!

Help me find this book for my son!
It is a bilingual Spanish and English "Slide and Find" book, called Palabras/Words. Here is the English version. All I seem to be able to find online is the smaller Bright Baby version and the pure English version. My son loves the book, and we had originally gotten it from the library, but they apparently withdrew it and now it is gone! Please help!

The library will probably still have a record of it. See if they have the ISBN on file, which you can search for on Amazon or used book sites.

or possibly this one? it does not appear to be slide and find...
another option is asking at the library whether they still have a catalogue record for the book so they could give you publisher info and the ISBN. a catalogue record often persists in the staff view for some time after the book is gone. however, it would depend on whether they catalogue board books.

Response by poster: KogeLiz that is the Bright Baby version, that's not the one I want. And tamarack, that's not it either. I can try calling the library back again later I guess, they were going to hold my name in case them came across it in storage or something. The publisher of all the slide and find things seems to be Macmillan though.

Response by poster: Library says ISBN is 0312506171, which when I looked up on bookfinder.com finds me one is Germany (which would cost me almost $20 to ship to the US) and one in Canada seeing for almost $45. Both of those are a bit much for me, anyone have any other skills at finding it somewhere? I've never had this much trouble finding a simple book.

could this be it? It's more expensive and doesn't say "Bright baby"
and also, its ISBN number brings up this website which has an image but is in Spanish
Also, someone on Amazon Marketplace seems to have it available

Response by poster: KogeLiz, those, I think, are the Spanish only version, which might be better than the English only version, but one is out of stock and the other ships from the UK, so again, as pricey as the German one. But those are definitely closer!

The ISBN-13 9780312506179 appears in this PDF, referring to "Slide and Find Words Bilingual" on the Macmillan US site, where it's listed as backlist (Priddy is a division of Macmillan, I guess), so it might be worth getting in touch with Macmillan directly, and seeing if they can get hold of a copy for you, or at least tell you if it's out of print or what has happened to it.
