nutritionist in Boston?

Can anyone recommend a nutritionist in the Boston area, within walking distance of a T stop or rail stop?

If you know whether they accept BCBS, that's a plus.

I've got to fix my diet and lose at least ten pounds, but I have too many medical issues with food and exercise even to ask Metafilter about how to deal with them.

I saw Dana Greene last year and she was incredibly helpful. She takes BCBSMA and is across the street from the Kent St. stop on the C line.

A friend went a few years ago to Nutrition Services at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and was pleased with the nutritionist he was assigned. Don't have the specific name, but worth calling them for more info.

BIDMC is about 0.4 miles from the "E" Green Line, Longwood Medical Area stop and the "D" Green Line, Longwood stop.

I saw Marc O'Meara somewhere in the Longwood Medical Center (very T-friendly) and he was great. I'm a vegetarian and he totally worked with me on that without once making me feel like I had to compromise my pre-existing dietary restrictions. I made some really lasting and positive changes to my diet after meeting with him.

Marc O'Meara

From his bio (to which you link) he was at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (at Longwood) for 10 years ... and was also affiliated with the acclaimed Benson Henry Institute which has since moved to Mass General.
