Can you help me find this Batman story?

I read a short Batman story about 8-10 years ago that I haven't been able to find since. There was a boy in the story who was disappointed that his dad was an engineer type and not as cool as Batman, but then at the end it's revealed that the dad actually makes gadgets for Batman. The story might have used the term "industrial designer" but as with most of these details, my memory is a little fuzzy. I think the story was in black and white, and I could have sworn that it was in a Batman Black and White book, but none of the story synopses on this Wikipedia page fit. Can anyone identify this story? Thanks!

Best answer: This version of Batman: black and white. pretty sure it's in this book. I had a copy a few years ago. My memory is fuzzy but I think this is it.

Best answer: I asked around amongst my Batman-knowledgeable friends - you're looking for "Heroes" by Archie Goodwin and Gary Gianni from Batman: Black and White #4, collected here (and probably in the link that hot_monster posted above).

Response by poster: Thanks to both of you for the help. "Heroes" looks like the one. I don't know how I missed it on that Wikipedia page. I guess I wasn't looking for the right words.
