Where to get snus when in LA and Vegas?

I was wondering if I can buy either the (purportedly not very good) Camel snus or even real Swedish snus in those cities?

I'll be travelling and am low on snus (have been having customs difficulties importing Swedish snus as customs overchages duty, have to appeal, etc.) Anyway, all I could find was a Yahoo answers that suggested Terrible's Gas Station and Mr. Bill's in Vegas (whatever those are). Any other suggestions, especially for the good Swedish stuff would be welcome.

Terrible Herbst is a very common gas station chain in Las Vegas. Most of them are pretty big, and would certainly have the Camel Snus (these days it's sold in most gas stations in the US), but I'd be shocked if they had anything Swedish.

Mr. Bill's is a smoke shop, and is more likely to have what you're looking for. If not, they may be able to point you in a better direction. Tobacco Road might also be worth trying. Here's a list of cigar shops in Vegas, with numbers for both of those plus more -- call around when you get there, and one of them may be able to help you. Keep in mind that snus use is pretty rare in the US, so you may be in for a search... wish I could help you further, but I haven't lived in Vegas in years.

Best answer: According to the Snus Authority, General Snus has a snus locator. But it requires registration and I don't really care about snus enough to try it out. But you might!

Response by poster: Actually, it just requires "age verification" (at least from my Canadian IP address), and it lists lots of stores in both cities which sell General Snus (my favorite is Nick and Johnny, but General will do just nicely).

Thanks, problem solved!

I was hoping you'd say what a snu was so I could have a shot at an unhelpful opinion. I take it it's not something you wear?

Eek, it's snuS... have just remembered mention of it from my public health lectures at uni. (Which, by the way, was not favourable.) I'm so sorry. A snu sounded like something a lot more fun! I'll slink away quietly now.

Response by poster: Well that gets into the whole debate over harm reduction etc. I have some strong opinions but perhaps this isn't the place.
