What tricks the memory plays.

I'm asking a question for a friend who's looking for a piece of art that meant something to her as a child.

She's having trouble remembering it clearly, so sorry for the scant details:

She believes it's a Dali, or at least a surrealist or abstract piece.

Like a ribbon wrapping around that forms the shape if a face, or maybe two faces.

It's predominantly grey or dark blue.

That's all we've got to go on.

Have any of you seen a painting like this?

I did a quick search online and found this image in addition to the previously mentioned bond of union. hope it helps.
