Where to get healthy soap and toothpaste internationally

Are there things similar to Dr. Bronner's and Tom's of Maine toothpaste I can buy in Egypt and/or Turkey while I'm travelling? And if so, where?

I've run out of both and would prefer to not have to buy Crest and generic soap. Am I out of luck? Having both mailed to me doesn't seem like an option as I'm moving around a lot plus shipping would be too high most likely.

I was in Cairo last summer; I don't remember seeing anything like that there.

Upon further reflection, there may have been some herbal toothpaste in the drugstore but that recollection is pretty hazy.

I lived in Abu Dhabi for a year, and there were tons of shops around catering to the local Indian and Pakistani population; there are some wonderful ayurvedic products available from them (Chandrika, for instance, and some crazy tooth cleaning made from what must have been charcoal powder and pure menthol). I realize this is probably useless for Turkey and Egypt, but I'm sure you can find some good low-budget local products still made "the old way".
