What is a more elegant/poetic way of saying: "I find you in everything that I do" ?
Shameless link to my favorite artist: "Sky Blue and Black" by Jackson Browne:
"You're the color of the sky reflected in each store-front windowpane
You're the splashing of my tires in the rain
You're the hidden cost and the thing that's lost in everything I do
And I'll never stop looking for you
In the sunlight, in the faces on the avenue
That's the way love is
Sky blue and black"

Response by poster: Also, I should add, What is a more concise way of saying this phrase? (not that Browne's lyrics don't get at the heart of this phrase's meaning). thanks!

The first line of Stan Rogers' gorgeous song "45 Years" are as follows :
"Where the earth shows its bones of wind-broken stone
And the sea and the sky are one
I'm caught out of time, my blood sings with wine
And I'm running naked in the sun
There's God in the trees, I'm weak in the knees
And the sky is a painful blue
I'd like to look around, but Honey, all I see is you."

Jason and Laszlo, I'm not sure it gets much better than the way you phrased it first.

One of the following?:
I see you in everything.
I find you in everything.
I see you in everything I do.
I find you in everything I do.

One of my friends likes the phrase "you are infinite" to express this sentiment.

i carry your heart with me (i carry it in
my heart) i am never without it (anywhere
i go you go, my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing, my darling)
-e.e. cummings
Or, slightly quicker to say: i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)

Your absence has gone through me
Like thread through a needle.
Everything I do is stitched with its color.
Separation by W. S. Merwin
..........
You fit into me
like a hook into an eye
a fish hook
an open eye
You Fit Into Me by Margaret Atwood

Jason and Laszlo, I felt a sudden twinge when I read the way you had phrased it originally. It's striking in its simplicity but goes so deep to the feeling that I instantly knew what you meant. So I'd go with what you wrote. I don't think you're apt to find a more elegant phrasing than that.

Please don't use the Margaret Atwood poem. That's a very negative interpretation of a different sentiment.
Please do use your original phrasing. Simplistic and beautiful.

"I'll Be Seeing You" (Kahal/Fain)
I'll be seeing you
In all the old familiar places
That this heart of mine embraces
All day through
In that small cafe
The park across the way
The children's carousel
The chestnut trees, the wishing well
I'll be seeing you
In every lovely summers day
In everything that's bright and gay
I'll always think of you that way
I'll find you in the morning light
And when the day is through
I'll be looking at the moon
But I'll seeing you.
Performed by Billie Holiday

From Pip's declaration of unrequited love to Estella in Great Expectations:
"Out of my thoughts! You are part of my existence, part of myself. You have been in every line I have ever read, since I first came here, the rough common boy whose poor heart you wounded even then. You have been in every prospect I have ever seen since - on the river, on the sails of the ships, on the marshes, in the clouds, in the light, in the darkness, in the wind, in the woods, in the sea, in the streets. You have been the embodiment of every graceful fancy that my mind has ever become acquainted with. The stones of which the strongest London buildings are made, are not more real, or more impossible to be displaced by your hands, than your presence and influence have been to me, there and everywhere, and will be. Estella, to the last hour of my life, you cannot choose but remain part of my character, part of the little good in me, part of the evil. But, in this separation I associate you only with the good, and I will faithfully hold you to that always, for you must have done me far more good than harm, let me feel now what sharp distress I may. O God bless you, God forgive you!"

Everywhere I look I can see your face.
(Line from "Her Face" in the musical "Carnival," except the lyric was "her" not "your.")

Simplicity is its own poetry, and I think your original phrasing was beautiful. Nthing those that say to go with that.
