If a packaged food is labeled "ayurvedic" what, if anything, does that imply?

Yeah, I would be wary. Ayurveda is an ancient type of Indian medicine and health practices. Because it suggests different diets and different foods for the three different person types, it seems like a gimmick that a food label would say it's ayurvedic. Unless it's ghee or something very specific like that.

Best answer: In the United States, the FDA has a good one-page summary with its point of view and advice.
