iSight as security camera?

Is it possible to rig up my iSight camera (Mac OS X) to essentially act as a security camera? I'd like to record the footage it sees for "x" hours before overwriting, and ideally have it motion-activated so it only records when it detects movement.
This is a good how-to, don't know if the software is compatible with iSight though.

From the EvoCam product page:
Apple iSight
Use this versatile and stylish camera as a webcam with EvoCam, as a barcode scanner with EvoBarcode, and for video conferencing with iChat!

I've demoed EvoCam with my iSight, and it is very impressive.

Everything that is an isight
There are a couple there that allow you to use it as a webcam/motion camera. A couple of minutes you should be able to figure out which one is best for your needs. It looks like it might be KeyCam X
