What I'm looking for are the dumbest current ideas to lose weight and look good. Not for me. For work.

Is there a website devoted to crazy beauty, health and wellness treatments?

I'm trying to come up with some segment ideas for a new show and I need stuff in the wacky wellness areas. Perfect examples? There's a new place that does ass-facials. Everything that is done to your face normally, is done to your booty. Also, someone else forwarded me a pdf of an article where there's a new trainer who chases you around and takes money out of your pants if he catches you. RUN FOR YOUR MONEY OR YOUR LIFE. Things like those would be great.

So where? I've been looking for a couple of hours but so far I've got Jezebel and Daily Candy and neither has anything more interesting than a lady who does pilates with Hula Hoops.

IS there some sort of blog that covers all this stuff? Or are there some links to find it? I'd love stuff that's set in Southern California (where you'd be sure this sort of bodily excess would be easy to find) but I'll take whatever I can get.

this one doesn't have much on current trends, but maybe you can use for historical segments?

Not updated a lot these days, but there are some real gems in the archives.

I don't know of a website in particular but googling "wacky [fitness/beauty/health] trends" brings up lots of lists from various magazines/blogs. That might be a good way to start.
