Mother-son wedding dance song

My fiance and I are getting married in late September, and we are having a dance. We have already chosen our first dance song ("Our Way to Fall" by Yo La Tengo and the father daughter dance song ("Blackbird" by the Beatles)....but we're blanking on the mother-son dance song.
My fiance and his mom do not have a sentimental song they share; we're really open to anything! However, I'd like to avoid the super traditional songs...if anyone has any ideas, please post away! :-)

is there any reason they couldn't also dance to blackbird with you and your dad? (or some other 'parent dance' song?) three different songs is an awful long time for your guests to gaze adoringly at you all dancing with each other.

I agree with Kololo, just join the Father-Daughter dance after it's about halfway through. A couple of minutes of watching the bride and her dad dance is almost certainly enough for most guests / family. It's not like they're going to be doing a choreographed number with a big finale (are they?! Because no.), so just join up and bring some levity to it.
It's your day so do it in the way that works best for you. But it doesn't have to be 3 songs in a row where everyone's on the sidelines waiting for this part to finish.
Note: Maybe I'm biased -- I'm Jewish so we don't do stuff like that. We do the circles and chair thing instead.

"Your Song" by Elton John. My mother (RIP) had always expressed a desire for this to be the song for the mother-son danc if I ever married (it was released when she was pregnant with me). Leaving aside my emotional personal bias towards the song, I think it makes a great, non-traditional mother-son dance song. I've never heard it used at any other weddings I've attended, and conveys an appropiate sentiment.

My fiancé and I are doing one parent-dance song, which will coincidentally be "In My Life" by The Beatles. I think that's totally appropriate to do one song, but I respect the decision not to.

Your fiance and his mom can borrow my sentimental song that makes me think of my son: 'Over The Rainbow/Wonderful World' by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. It's a long story but it involves starting preschool and my little boy who is now 13. Every time I hear the song I weep and if I get to dance with him to that at his wedding (should he chose to/be able to marry), I will try very hard to not weep.
