Sometimes I'm browsing on my laptop and as soon as the page loads it turns blank

This seems to happen on media sites. Most recently it happened on Yahoo trip planner. How can I make it stop. -- Firefox - Vista

Try pressing control, shift and delete, and clear your temporary files, cache, cookies and things like that. This should basically 'reset' your browser's memory of the websites from before.
