Every good celebration involves chocolate!

Quick! Where can I get a very celebratory dinner in the Phoenix/Tempe/Scottsdale area tonight, where I can expect an exquisite, excellent dessert?

As of about an hour and a half ago, I changed from Ms. Saint to Dr. Saint! And now, I'm in dire need of a very nice dinner!

But I'm all about the desserts.. And I don't know a good place in the area where I can get an amazing dessert. Especially one that involves chocolate. Any ideas?

Unfortunately, my answer doesn't involve chocolate...

But I have a total hard-on just thinking about the warm butter cake at Mastro's Steakhouse in North Scottsdale. It's the most decadent thing I've ever had.

The picture I found doesn't do it justice, but here it is.

Best answer: Congratulations Dr. Saint! I can personally recommend Vincent's. Everything there is great, but you might want to check the menu for the dessert list. They usually have wonderful specials each night as well.

Mastro's or Ocean Club in Scottsdale? I'm usually not much for restaurant desserts, especially the chocolate ones, but I ordered the chocolate sin cake at Ocean Club and found it delicious. The desserts listed don't look elaborate, but the one I ate (and everything else I ate there) was REALLY good.

Probably too late, but Binkley's in Cave Creek! Though I guess you might need a reservation.... Check out this recent review.

Response by poster: Great, thanks!

The other places are also now on a List of Places to Hit. Binkley's has been there for a while.. But, yeah, I'm pretty sure you really need a reservation for there.
