Landscaping help in Stumptown?

Can someone help me choose a landscape design/consultation service in Portland, Oregon? I have option paralysis! I'm looking for plant selection, placement and care advice. Do you have any good, bad, or indifferent experiences to share? If it matters, I live in North Portland. I know about Joy Creek Nursery. Any others?

If you're just looking for consulting, try a garden coach.

I don't know these people, but their site talks about what garden coaches do. Their prices seem more than reasonable to me (garden coaches in the Bay Area are much more expensive).

We're meeting with Chris from Purple Stones tomorrow to check out our lot for landscape design. The examples of his work we've seen have been awesome.
