230V in the USA

Can anyone recommend a UK-based supplier of 230V consumer electrical products that will ship by Royal Mail to the USA? I'm looking for something similar to this, maplin.co.uk a store which unfortunately only ships within the UK. I need to buy some assorted 230V stuff for development of products that will be sold in Asia.

I'm aware there's American stores selling similar "International" power strips and so on, but the prices are actually terrible and the selection sucks compared to what's available in the UK domestic market. For example Maplin is selling a nice surge protected 8-outlet extension strip for 15 pounds, which is about $22-23.

Maplin's kinda one of a kind.

Dabs might do. Argos has some of the bog standard electrical stuff that Maplin does.

Amazon probably has a lot of this stuff too.

I've certainly got Amazon to ship books internationally in the past - although the delivery pricing doesn't mention electronics.

Alternately, if you want to send me a MeFi mail, I could buy some stuff and send it on to you by whatever means you want to pay for.

Yeah, as in: don't buy from Maplin's whatever else you do.

Farnell & RS are fine purveyors or electronic goods in the UK, if somewhat pricey. Ebay if you're happy taking slightly more risk.
